  • Experiences from the English Week of 2005

The Beit Shemesh Municipal Library was the place to be during the week of 3 - 10 April 2005 for any student preparing for their oral English matriculation exams.

We were honored to have Sam Book and Sandra Hayward, from Washington DC, volunteer for the week and assist us with our program. Sam and Sandra had a busy schedule with half hour sessions assisting students with exam preparation on some days, and other days participating in an English Games Marathon. The week concluded with students presenting on Life in Beit Shemesh and our guests sharing their experience on Life in Washington. All who participated had a great time with the students going into their exams well prepared and others having improved their English through games and books donated to the Library by Sam and Sandra.
